Study:
  • International, randomized, open label, noninferiority phase III
  • Chemotherapy-naïve uterine or ovarian carcinosarcoma
  • CARBOplatin + PACLitaxel (n=228) or Ifosfamide + PACLitaxel (n=221) for 6-10 cycles
Efficacy:
  • For UCS: mOS: 37 vs. 29 mos (HR=0.87 P < 0.01 for noninferiority)
  • mPFS: 16 vs 12 mos (HR = 0.73; P = < 0.01 for noninferiority)
Safety:
  • Grade >=3 AEs: 82% vs 50%
  • Grade >=3 neurologic AEs: 12% and 7% (P > .10)
